Foundeling Birds
A play for young audience and family--Foundeling birds invites you on a journey with a girl's escape from an aviary, where she lives with her brothers, Hansel and Jack. The Girl is always hungry for changes--Throughout her life, she's been changing names (from Camus to Tennyson, from Spencer to Coleridge). Outside the aviary, there is an giant animal eye always watching and a deserted world where time moves too fast, the sun is too hot , and people don't remember how to read anymore. Guided by a voice from a TV show talking about migrating birds, the Girl set up her mind to a forever traveling journey, "to strive, to seek, and not to yield." Foundeling birds is a fantasy that explores languages, identity, aging, and family.
